Eisner and McCloud Responses

The essay by Eisner ws ver enlightining and tought me a lot about comic books and graphic novels. I have never read a comic book or graphic novel before so I have no idea how to read them. Actually, the closest thing I've read to a comic book and a graphic novel is the sunday comics. So needless to say, I learned a lot from readin this paper. For example, I never would have guessed that the size of the boxes can impact the story. Then there was the McCloud paper which was actually written by a comic book. This helpe me a lot because I kinda got a feel for reading a comic book while learning about comic books. From what I've learned about comic books I can't wait to start reading one because it looks like it would be much better than an actual book.
